Learn to lead sound baths and develop the skills to offer sound healing sessions.
Sound Healing International offers in-depth training for people ready to move from experiencing sound to working with it. Whether you’re beginning a new practice or bringing sound into the work you already do, you’ll learn to create and guide sound baths with knowledge, skill and intention.
Our training combines music theory, the science of sound and a full week of hands-on learning. You’ll explore how notes, frequencies and resonance work together, alongside research into how music relates to the brain, body and nervous system. Through daily sound baths and guided practice with the instruments, you’ll put that knowledge to use.

The training is designed to help you take the next step with confidence. You’ll practise creating and leading sound baths, become SHI Certified upon successful completion, and receive guidance on choosing and sourcing instruments for your own practice. You’ll leave with practical skills, a clearer sense of your sound and support for beginning your work as a practitioner.

Learn through practice
Receive daily sound baths and spend the week working directly with the instruments. With demonstrations, hands-on guidance and time to experiment, you’ll learn how to choose sounds, bring them together and guide an experience for others. The more you listen and practise, the more your own approach begins to emerge.

Explore the science and philosophy
SHI brings together sound educators, scientists, healthcare specialists and philosophers. Study how sound and music relate to the brain, body and nervous system with SHI’s multidisciplinary team. This exploration includes live brain scan demonstrations, giving you the opportunity to see the science in action. Each location has the same quality of training while providing different experiences.

Understand the language of sound
Learn how notes, frequencies, tones and resonance work together. Explore the foundations of music theory, train your ear to hear the relationship between sounds, and practise pairing instruments to create soundscapes with intention. You’ll understand more deeply what you’re playing and why you’ve chosen it.
